Greenwood Cemetery

Greenwood, Hopkins County, Texas
Monday, August 18, 2003
In the late 1870s and 1880s, a migration took place of families from Morgan County, Alabama to Hopkins County, Texas, including members of the Day, Penn, and Turrentine families. I came to Texas anticipating a difficult hunt for these people. Imagine my joy and surprise when I found that most of them ended up in the same cemetery.
