Dear Margaret:
Yes, some of my Duttons are that short.  I used to be 5'3 1/2,
but have shrunk an inch somewhere along the way so I am 
your height.  My sister is 5'1"  My dad, and all his siblings were
shorter - none of the men anywhere near 6', but about 5'8" to
5'10.  His sisters probably averaged about 5'3 -5'4.  My children
are all taller than I.  Have been the "family midget" since they
were in junior highschool.  But their fathers people and my
mother's people had height in the family.
