All this information is interesting.  By the way  the Redfern family are or I
should say were (there aren"t any left) I think,  and there were quite a few
of them named Townly Redfern over the past.  The last one was killed by a
felled tree in the 70,s.

By the way, I think that most of the Dutton's from Wythe Co. Va. were
originally afrom Germany and changed their named from Dettering of something
like thiat.
