Reading Sue's last post, I noticed a comment about Laura Dutton , daughter of Thomas Dutton and Mary C. Bates, and her place of birth. Laura's middle name,by the way, was Ann, as listed on her marriage bond--with her signature. She was not born in TX ,but in Itawamba Co., MS. She died there on November 10, 1910 and is buried in the New Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, in Itawamba Co. Sonya
