Hi, everyone,
I have found a Dutton connection in SC. Her name is Peggy. Her
grandmother was a Pearl Dutton(died at 49) around 1962 and she lived in
Clinton, SC, Laurens County. She was married to a Buck Payton. Buck and
Pearl lived at one time in Calhoun Falls, GA. I think that this Pearl was the
daughter of a Wiley Dutton,
possibly the son of Patrick Dutton. Also, in the Rosemont Cemetery in
Clinton, SC, there are 2 Dutton men buried there, a Braxton, SR, born Feb. 2,
1881 and died on July 12, 1951. There is also the grave of Braxton Dutton,
Jr, born Sept. 15, 1912 and died on Sept. 27, 1981. There are also 2 other
Dutton men buried there. Is anyone
familiar with any of these Duttons or the area?
