Hi, my name is Brenda Lynne Short. John Burnside Brown and Mary Permelia Dutton’s son, William Boyd Brown, is my great grandfather. His daughter Ossie died giving birth to my father Cullen Hoyt Short in 1918. I was born in 1960. My father died when I was 7 and I had no information whatsoever about his family. Thanks to Ancestry I have found an amazing family history and I am grateful to you for this web page and all the work that has been done to introduce me to my family.
